I just love our new table! Everything was in good condition. A couple of the chairs had some minor scratches on them but the finish is so dark that I touched them up with a regular black sharpee ( don't worry, I've been doing that with my expresso colored woods for years ) and you can't see them at all. I originally wanted this table without the lazy susan but now I am glad that it has it! It works better than I thought it would and it makes it so easy to pass things to people on the other side of the table ( needed with this table unless your arms can streach almost 5 feet ). I read reviews on this table before I bought it and to cover some of my concerns that I had, it doesn't seem to scratch overly easy like one person suggested but we are using place mats just to be safe. This table really will accomidate 8 people! The wood seems to be a higher quality and the over all construction of the table is very solid. The one thing that I was suprised by is the lazy susan glass is white, not clear. It is fogged white so that you can't see the roller that the glass sits on. The roller is actually really nice and a brushed nickle color and would have been perfect for our house but the colored glass looks good too. If you are thinking about buying this table and you're not sure... just do it. It's the best deal I've found after looking for two years!

I purchased this table set in May and wanted to really try it out before I offered up my opinion on it. I was a bit dubious that eight individuals could sit around this table comfortably and not be knocking elbows with those seated around them. It turned out there was plenty of room for everyone.

All in all, this is a fabulous set. It has a wonderful look to it (it also comes in a walnut finish), and is very sturdy. I like the height of the set as well. The seats, (especially for not having padded backs to them), are surprisingly comfortable, and the storage cabinet underneath the table is an added plus. The cabinet opens on two opposite sides, and has grooves to store wine bottles on their side and stemware can hang from beneath the "roof" of the cabinet. The base of my stemware seemed a bit too wide to slide into the wooden slots located underneath the top of the cabinet, but no biggie, I just stored my crystal elsewhere.

There is space between the bottom of the table and the top of the cabinet to use for knick knacks or whatever you'd like to place there.

The instructions were fairly easy to follow (a good thing for those of us diagramily challenged), and took my daughter and I about two hours to put it all together. Everyone who sees it compliments the set. I like the lazy susan in the middle of the table, although mine doesn't turn quite so smoothly or easily. I may have to have the glass ground down around the edges just ever so slightly. The sale price (under $800.00) is an exceptional deal as well. With a new house to furnish and decorate, believe me, I've been looking around and comparing prices.

I ordered this table from Moshya Home Furnishings on this website...It was an amazing purchase and an amazing dining set. Moshya delivered my set sooner than I expected. It was simple to put together, It took about 2.5 hours to put it together. My husband and I along with two of our children put it together. Since I have children, I covered each seat with plastic that I purchased from the Hobby Lobby store. This set is quality, quality, quality! It's made with real wood not that plywood junk most new items are made of. This is a great buy especially form Moshya Home Furnishings. I've been looking for a nice, casual and inexpensive counter height dining room set for my breakfast nook area. This set is perfect. I've had it for 2 weeks now and no complaints! It looks really nice (love the color), it's comfortable, and the lazy susan works great. The price was just right too. My husband put the chairs and table together in about 3 hrs top. If you're looking for something big enough to accomadate 5 or more and sit comfortably, definitely go with this set....you won't be sorry! Good luck....

I shopped everywhere for a counter height table with 8 chairs set to no avail. Finally I came across this dining table Chair Set and in a dark finish and was ecstatic. Yippee! My purchase with the shipping and handling was cheaper than anything I could have gotten locally AND I even got a super bonus, the Lazy Susan. Love this table! It's gorgeous. I don't have all 8 chairs around it since my kitchen is on the small side. I use the extra ones at the bar. It does take some time and muscle to get it together, but well worth the trouble.

I got my table this morning, and could not wait for my husband to get home, so I ended up putting it together all by myself(very easy to put together). I am very happy with this purchase! I could not have found a better set for this price! If anyone is contemplating this table and chairs...Do not worry about the reviews on here from some. This table is the most beautiful table I've seen ever it was exactly what I wanted and I finally received it a few weeks ago, it was very simple to put up it only took my boyfriend like 2 hours to put together the wood is very heavy this is not a cheap table set and one thing make sure u have a few helpers to help u bring this table in I'm not kidding when I say it's very heavy and solid wood and another thing I will assure u that anybody that come to your house will love this table I hear it all the time.

This table was by far our favorite one when going through many stores and online catalogs and it totally lived up to our expectations. We recently moved into a new home and every single person at our housewarming party was in love with our table. The assembly took a few hours when adding up all the chairs and making sure every screw was tight and the chairs didn't rock if put on a hard surface. The color is rich, the height is great and the lazy susan in the middle fits and works perfect. We have only had 6 people max sitting at it at one time and I must admit there wasn't much room left on the table, especially if you have many of the serving plates on the table also. Our plates are big and square so getting 8 people would be a chore but not impossible if you needed to do so. The table is perfect for playing any games too because everyone is equal distance from the middle. You won't be disappointed with this table even with the price of shipping, it's well worth the money!

This dining set is beautiful and well made! I couldn't have done any better if I would have actually gone to a showroom to pick one out. I was worried the color might be a little too dark for my taste, but it is absolutely perfect and a little lighter than the display picture, which makes it look black. This is a perfect fit for my breakfast area off of the kitchen. I have 6 chairs at the table and wanted the additional chairs to use at the bar for company. I would highly recommend this table to anyone!

I was worried about ordering a table online without actually seeing it in a store first but this table is everything I hoped it would be. We were looking for the perfect gathering table that could also double as a dining table since our place is limited in size and this fit the bill perfectly. It seats eight comfortably and is great for company. The assembly wasn't difficult but does take a little time, especially since you have to build all the chairs too. The Lazy Susan is very modern and looks gorgeous. The storage in the bottom is great for wine and stemware. It is a heavy table and solidly built. Make sure you have a few people to help you carry it inside. I would highly recommend this table to anyone. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of all the assembly required.

Well I just got my table, and put it together last night...doing the chairs later.

Overall I am very happy with the quality, The construction of the base is very sturdy once assembled. It took me all night to do so, but I am meticulous with this kind of thing. As with all DIY furniture, I ALWAYS use professional carpenters glue (Tite Bond) at all joints, once it dries, the thing will never come apart. No damage to my pieces, the joints fit together pretty well, not like master craftsmanship, bod good for 'made in Malaysia'. One thing I didn't realize is how high the table is...duh...counter height. Well it is higher than a normal table, but thats OK, I like having something different.

I really doubt the size will be big enough for Thanksgiving dinner for 8, but it will be perfect for cards, and seating 4-6 for dinner. The lazy suzan was not centered correctly, so I had to modify it a bit to get it to turn without rubbing, no biggie...I made a comment to another's review about this.

The storage space underneath is cute...but I doubt I'll ever use it. I do like that there are no legs at the corners, and you can sit all the way around it. It is not likely to tip over or anything...its very heavy and solid.

Overall, a good product. Remember...use glue! It takes longer but makes a world of difference.

I am quite happy with the table. It is made of solid wood, none of that mdf or fiber board garbage. The table and chairs are attractive and sturdy. Some of the chair pieces had some tiny scratches on them, nothing that a furniture marker couldn't take care of. I bet I could have had the pieces replaced but it was not worth it. Also the lazy susan does not spin as easily as I would like, but it does work well enough.

The only real down side is that you have to carry from curb side to inside after delivery, and of course assembly is never fun. Make sure you check the table top before the delivery person leaves. The company said they can replace any part other than the table top via ups/fedex. The table its self was quick to go together however the chairs take forever. The assembly is not hard, just time consuming. The table assembly is a two person job.

The table is very sturdy and good quality. This was very easy to put together. Chairs are very sturdy and took longer to put together and in the long run, well worth the time! The only part that I don't really like is the Lazy Susan, turntable, does not rotate easily. You have to use 2 hands sometimes to get it moving. The only problem I had was the shipping. This took several weeks. I missed the delivery and had to reschedule, which was another 2 weeks before they were in my area again. All in all, this purchase was well worth it!

We are very happy with this table! Love the countertop height (we have a great dane), we were tired of standard table legs so we really like having the center stand, it makes it different and unique. The cappuccino color is really nice and the wood they used is good quality. We ordered it through visiondecor and although the delivery time was long, ordered on March 9 and received it on March 31, the delivery guys were professional. They took each box off the pallet it came on and brought each individual box inside and they waited while we checked over it to make sure everything was ok. It did take a little time to put together, 4 hours for us, the chairs that took the longest but not a problem at all. After putting it all together here's what we notice about it: All the chairs do not scoot all the way in (if you are using all 8 chairs)at the same time, they will hit eachother so they do sit out a little bit. The padding in them could be a little thicker. I'm use to sitting at a dining room table without padded chairs, but if your expecting for them to be they are not. The lazy susan is nice. Ours fits just right and turns fine without rubbing or getting stuck. I haven't used the storage part of it yet, but do like the fact that it is there to use. Overall, we love it! If you keep coming back to the picture (like I did) you will really like it. I'm very happy to see it in my dining room!

The table arrived with no damage and looked just like the picture. It's well made and a great value for the price. The surface can scratch easily, so I would recommend place mats. The lazy-susan doesn't spin that well, but it's not that big of a deal. I am happy with the purchase.

If seating 8 people is an important criterion for you, then this table is not going to do it. I was concerned about the size and seating from the pictures before we bought this set, but now its confirmed. There's no place on the square table to accommodate 2 people to each side without elbows knocking and plates, glasses set so close to each other, you could eat off the other's plate. On corner seats, its not possible to sit without one person's knees poking another's thigh. The most you can realistically seat is 6 people if you do 2 chairs on two of the sides and 1 chair each on the remaining two sides. With that configuration, you can move the single chairs to the middle and spread out the 2 chair side a little bit so that elbows and knees are not bumping into each other. But that makes the whole setting looks somehow asymmetric not to mention the single plate in the center is really close to the lazy susan in the center.

The center lazy susan is a tempered glass round flush with the surface of the table but positioned on bearings such that it can rotate. Its virtually useless because you cannot set the plate correctly enough so that when it rotates it does not get jammed in the wood circumference (there's a 2 millimeter gap between the wood and glass plate). A slight push and the glass plate closes this gap on one side and cannot rotate. You would have to press hard on the glass to make it rotate and it makes a noise as the plate rubs along the wood.

The square shape makes it good to put some food in the middle of the table, but creates unusable space in the corners which is wasted. Using this set with just 4 chairs might be ok, but then why would you spend all this money to leave 4 of the 8 chairs supplied out?

*Quality*
The quality and finish are very good. I like the deep coffee brown and the smooth and nice finish. The wood is heavy and does not feel cheap. The seat pads could have been better. The table top surface is definitely soft and very susceptible to scratches.

*Assembly*
The whole set was shipped to me on a wooden shipping pallet, wrapped in plastic wrap and tied down with flat plastic cords. It obviously weighs a ton and the delivery guy unloaded it off the truck and pulled into my garage using a pallet dolly. If you live in an apartment or don't have a first floor garage - good luck! I separated all the items and carried boxes inside individually. (There's 2 chairs to a box - so 4 boxes and 1 big box for the center table). The center table cannot be lifted by one person.

Setup for the main table wasn't too bad on the whole but the diagrams could have been better. There was no labeling on the pieces so you could fix things together but oriented incorrectly for the next step. I would do 2 pieces and then when time came to join intermediate pieces, I would realize they would not fit together they way I had set them up. The center table is assembled upside down and again you'll need two people to flip it back up after assembly is done.

Fixing the chairs was not hard but laborious. I did not do all of them in a single sitting. Wish fixing the seat pads was easier. There are no grooves in the pad. You just have to hold them down and screw into the soft wood in the bottom.


*Overall Value*
Bought them here on Amazon through mo-sh-ya and it was six hunderd ninety nine. They dropped the price to six hundred twenty within 2 weeks of my purchase. No response on a refund for the difference.

Having bought it, we are using the table in the 6 chair configuration. Its not too bad for the price and given how hard it has been to find something contemporary in this price range. If I could go back in time, I would definitely pay a little bit more and get something else.

Overall, I guess I like it, though I have yet to sit at it. The chairs are comfortable. The table is attractive. The table top bottom was split on one side near the screws indicating to me that it was weak and wasn't screwed on properly, but hopefully nothing that a bit of wood glue and strong clamps won't fix.

The storage doesn't actually fit my wine glasses as the slots are too narrow. Plus, there are no stops, so anything that does fit in there flies to the back and falls off, shattering. That wasn't a fun experience.

Overall, assembly rivaled IKEA; 8 chairs though take time.

So I suppose I'm happy with it, particularly for the price; but we'll see if my mind changes when I actually try to host people at it.

The dining set is nice on the picture, but is very unconfortable,two person can't set side by side, when we all set a the table we have to push one of the chair away so we can have some room. You can't push the chair allaway in side because there is not enough room, the table is to small. putting the chair together it took us or two hours each chair, because the were uneven.
Delivery: I paid $170.00 for delivery instead the delivery guy (only one guy) need it help getting unload from the truck and left it out in the street, my husband and my son had to get the Dining set in side the house and we paid all that money for us to do all the work. We'll never buy any thing from this company again

Dont' get me wrong, I love this table. Amazingly solid, amazing contours on the chairs, truly artistic. Took about 5 hours to assemble by myself, but considering half price of Room Store etc, I will gladly assemble.

However after 2 days, I noticed fine line scratches on the table top from my plates. So definatley use place matts.

I highly reccommend this table..
