1.) The Cherry Table is Great

I purchased the cherry wood colored set just last week. As an amazon prime member, the free shipping was great as shipping on other similar items w/o prime is $40-50. The package comes in one large box, with the items protected by styrofoam. Putting the table together was really easy with the tool that comes in the kit. Putting the two stools together was a little more complicated and required a screw driver and some arm work to drive the screws into the legs of the stool. Overall I got the whole thing set up in about 30-40 minutes.

The wood is a handsome deep cherry. The construction is solid and quite steady. The stools are sturdy as well and comfortable to sit on. The brown leather of the stool seats is quite soft and nicely textured.

Drawbacks to the table include that it isn't wide enough to fit two normally sized placemats across from each other. The short end of the table top is wide enough to fit a normal sized place mat but is uncomfortable for sitting at either end because of the bars which run vertically to support the table.

Overall this is a fantastic little table for a New York apartment. Definitely worth the $120 or so price tag.

I bought this table set for my daughter in college for her new apartment. She actually put it together herself without any assistance and it looks absoluely beautiful. She loves it and it seems to be very substantial. We found it on Amazon.com for about $30 less than any other web-site. Thanks Amazon!

Okay, this is my very first big furniture on line purchase, im old school like to go see product in store and size it up with what im thinking! My friend knew i was in need of something small for 2 to fit in my new condo that has a kitchen with small space for this perfect set of table and 2 seats.
I hate building things and even thought about hiring a person to build up for me but after a week of seeing it sit on the floor i got out of the box and in 30 minutes i built my first furniture set. It is really easy and if i can do this, im sure all can build this just as quick.
Im really enjoying it for meals, study and popping flowers on it to brighten my small condo up!

I am thrilled with this 3-piece dinette set. It is exactly what I was looking for. The flat surface makes it perfect for my elementary aged chidren to work on their art projects and homework as I prepare meals in my small kitchen. It serves as a perfect breakfast table or Sunday morning coffee-and-newspaper table for me and my husband. It also has come in handy when we have friends over to serve appetizers and finger food for friends to stand around (taller height). I've enjoyed the compliments we've received and highly recommend this set.

I live in a small dorm apartment and was searching all over the internet for something small enough to fit my even smaller living area. I finally found this table with stools and could not believe the price! I was ecstatic when it arrived, the cherry coloring was beautiful and I immediately put it together. It was so easy to put it together and luckily I had an electric screwdriver to finish up the stools. As it was all finished I didn't realize the table top seemed damage on the edge which wasn't noticeable until I started inspecting it. It sucked but I loved the table so much I didn't want to return it and thought some wood putty would repair it. I told Amazon about the damage and they were awesome in helping me with the problem. Anyway I would definitely recommend this table! It is beautiful and the leather top stools are gorgeous and I couldn't believe how easy it was to put it together! It fits perfectly in one side of my living room and I enjoy finally having a table to actually eat at.
So my only suggestion would be to check the items before putting it together! :) Other than that its a great buy!

The table is great. It's perfect for two people and our awkwardly set kitchen. However, it came with a crack in part of the wood that we had to fix before putting it together. The instructions were a bit hard to understand but we were able to get it after a while ... and the damn thing came with three extra screws. Literally.

I bought this table for our kitchen, which is small, and this seemed relatively narrow. It's a great fit for the kitchen. It's sturdy and the stools feel sturdy as well. The cushions on them are great and add comfort. I bought it in cherry (brown), and I love the color. The table and stools sit up a bit higher then a normal table. My only complaint was that when the box arrived it was completely beaten up. Two of the three screws that hold the table top to the frame, had been ripped out. I couldn't get them back in because of the gaping holes underneath. However, the table still functions normally because the weight of the table top holds down the frame. Hopefully everyone else had better luck with shipping. It's a great table for a great price overall.

The set was easy to assemble (the directions fit in one page). It has a very sturdy feel to it and I use it to have my meals, as a laptop desk overlooking the window and for reading. Looks good, feels good! Would recommend to anyone. I gave it 4/5 as I'd really love to have a backrest on the stools - not really a misgiving of the set.

Pros: Looks very nice and is quite sturdy without being heavy. The stools are well constructed and comfortable.
Comments: It can definitely seat two, but it is not wide enough to be able to fit two standard sized place mats/settings. The bars on either side preclude other seating arrangements.

The table came very fast which was nice, but when I got it the packaging was open and the two beams for the table top were broken off, I was able to re screw them in so it was fine. Besides the problems with packaging, this table is really nice and the stools are very comfy.

My purchase arrived this morning and it was well packaged but unfortunately one of the corners is badly damaged, I made the mistake of not turning the table top over to check it was OK so didn't see it until I had put it together which was effortless to do. Having said that the piece is sturdy and looks nice. I've got the black but it isn't, it's more of a mahogany but the seat pads are black. All in all I'm pleased with it shame about the damage to the table corner.

We decided to buy this table to stage our kitchen because we were listing our home for sale. It is the perfect size, perfect color and the perfect price. The quality is what I expected for the price of the piece. I read other reviews about how the piece arrived damaged...well ours arrived damaged as well. The corner was dented and barely noticeable so we simply turned that side toward the kitchen wall. I didn't have the energy to exchange it.

I was pleased with the look and value of this set. It fit well in my small kitchen but like other people I was a little upset that it came slightly damged. It had a chip in the table and some marks but I'll live with it

I love this small table and stools. However, when I received it there was a small chunk of the top missing from the corner of the table. I understand that it was probably the fault of the shipper because the box was in pretty poor condition. I would suggest maybe better packing on the items. Overall, the table and stools were the perfect size for my small kitchen.

I like my table. Since I only have a small space for my dining it fit perfectly. I was able to put it together fairly quickly. Which means a lot because I'm not really a handy girl. The only downside of the purchase was that I was missing 4 of the longer foot rest bars for my stools and got 4 extra of the shorter side bars. Other than that I love my purchase.

Considering this is one of the cheapest tables you can find, I can't really complain. However, it wasn't long until one of the chair bottoms (holding the cushion up) cracked and the table became wobbly. My boyfriend and myself are fairly skinny people, and so I am a little disappointed in the overall longevity of the product considering I purchased this item less than a year ago.

In a nutshell..UPS delivered the first package to our leasing office literally mangled w/parts/pieces falling out of the box as they were carrying it in...the box was torn open at every corner n crushed as well. Needless to say we were missing all the hardware and the table top was split down the middle along w the base/leg. Now..time to repackage for returns/pickup(took us almost an hour as UPS didn't leave much packaging in any condition to be reused) We opt for the replacement rather then credit..which came in a timely manner and again not handled/shipped w/care. This time all parts n hardware survived the shipping but the table top didn't//every corner was bashed in n split. Please know if you aren't a fan of IKEA quality furniture..DO NOT purchase this set. It is similar in quality and their pre-drilled holes are equally inaccurate. Definately not worth waiting a month total for the replacement set that is damaged as well. We sold our lil pub set on Craig's list prior to this one's arrival...bad move. Oh and if ya happen to have any hefty friends or family..these stools are not for them ;) Best of luck to you if interested in this set..if it survives UPS you'll be lucky..and if it lasts 3months you'll be even luckier ;)

The table had two pieces that were previously connected, but one was broken off before it got to me, so now I am having to find some way to put it together with wood glue because I don't want to go through the trouble of shipping it back and having to pay a ridiculously high cost for the shipping.

The box to the Homelegance set arrived opened on both ends via UPS and the box was damaged. It looked as though the set had been previously returned and shipped back out to us. Based on the other negative reviews I was expecting something to be wrong but hoped for no issues based on the fact I ordered the table for a home showing to have in the kitchen on quick notice. The table top was damaged as were the legs to the table. I sent in for a replcement so it should be another 2 weeks before getting the new set which hopefully arrives in tact. I would seriously hesistate to order piece furniture online again and having heard other people's experiences I would not order Homelegance. The quality is sub par... this is not a set I would use for everyday use or in my kitchen but for a home showing it is suitable if in tact.
